Family yoga is a fun experience that brings children and their parents together through activities that promote self-regulation and focus. Classes include breathing exercises and yoga poses through books, art, songs, and games. Families leave with a rested meditation and a joyful love of yoga!
Julia Miele is a registered yoga instructor with a master’s degree in elementary and special education. She received her 200-hour training through Radiant Child Yoga. She recently participated in the first National Kids Yoga Conference in Washington DC. In addition to teaching, she also has provided yoga trainings to local schools. As an educator and ABA therapist, she has experience working with all ages from infants to teens, including children with autism and ADHD. Julia is currently available for family yoga, 1-on-1 sessions for children with specific needs, and yoga workshops for parents & educators. Check out the schedule for local offerings.
